At the International Futsal Courts in Mengo, on Thursday evening January 18, former Uganda Cranes and Express FC skipper, Suileman ‘Mike’ Mutyaba, ended his first round stardom in style as he netted a double hat trick (six goals) in a ten goal thriller against Park FC.
This took Mutyaba’s goal tally to 23, four above his teammate Jamil Kaliisa who registered one goal in the same game.
The 9-1 result put Dream FC top log of the 2018 National Futsal League with a superior goal advantage despite being level on points (28) against second placed KSPG. KSPG had an easy battle against Parakeets whom they whitewashed 4-0.
In the other games, Riham overcame Yap Stars 7-4, Typoons humbled Kabowa United 6-3 while Yeak Kabowa and Elephants earned walkovers.
