Bukoto-based Diners bar and lounge recently changed management, we can confirm. Earlier in the week, our source informed us Diners Lounge founding directors Gerald and Steve had sold off the business. When we crosschecked, we also discovered that Diners Lounge was acquired by the same people who own Fame Lounge along Acacia Avenue.

Until a few months back, Diners Lounge was one of the most happening places in Kampala.

However, the bar got into trouble after falling out with comedian Alex Muhangi who was hosting a weekly comedy show at the hangout, which was also their biggest night for so many months.

Numbers went down and for the better part of the last months of 2017; Diners Lounge was a shadow of its former glory.
