West Nile side Onduparaka Football Club has strengthened its managerial department for the league second round. The green army has unveiled ex-Uganda Cranes defender Simeon Masaba as the club’s assistant head coach.
“We really needed an assistant coach in this team just like many of the big teams across the Globe and we believe in Simeon. He has proved to us that He really wants to work with us as he was only informed two days ago but managed to travel immediately“,said club chairman Mr. Nyakuni Benjamin.
Masaba has already started his duties at the Green Light stadium as he led the team in warm ups and drills this morning.
Masaba spent his club football career playing for local clubs; Police, Villa and URA where he spent most of the years. He then retired in 2015 and he has a record of being the longest serving right back for the national team. This was due to his timed forward movements and pin point trademark crosses.
