The Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) is set to release the 2017 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results today in Kampala.
Uneb officials, led by their executive secretary, Dan N. Odongo, held a briefing with the minister of Education, Janet Museveni, about the results at State house Nakasero, Kampala yesterday.
646, 080 primary seven candidates registered to sit PLE at 12,751 centres across the country. Almost three-quarters of the candidates were from Universal Primary Education (UPE) schools.
Of the total number of candidates, 333,495 were female while 312,585 were male.
