One of the protesters who claimed Development Channel boss hoodwinked unsuspecting clients with a cover photo of President Museveni fro his booklets

The day couldn’t go any worse for Development Channel Chairman, Charles Lambert. After news of his arrest broke last evening, several of the company’s customers have flocked Jinja Road Police demanding to speak to him.

In a pair of slippers, Lambert emerged with a swollen face and a gospel on how Development Channel is planning to make good on its promises to the customers.

He said most of the customers who came after May this year when the company was already in a financial crisis have not got their tablet computers because the company could bring them into the country.

But the angry customers would have none of that. They demanded a refund of their money saying that he can keep the returns as long as he refunds their money.

According to sources inside Development Channel, other customers have threatened to sue Lambert if their dividends don’t accrue.
