The President’s car whose rear screen was allegedly smashed by Bobi Wine and co-accused in Arua on August 13.

Counsel Asuman Basalirwa, the lawyer representing Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) and 33 others in the treason case has challenged the prosecution to use the court adjournment to collect and present all evidence against his clients – including the stoned presidential car.

While appearing in Gulu Magistrates Court for an update on the investigations into their case committed on August 13 in Arua town, Basalirwa told court presided over by Grade One magistrate, Yunus Ndiwalana that the prosecution should be given all the time they need to present their evidence to the court.

“Three months are sufficient enough for the state to carry investigations. After the three months, we believe they would have finished the investigation or will be ably presenting a relatively knowledgeable part of the matter,” Basalirwa told the court.
