Nebbi L.C5 chairman Ezrom William Alenyo passes on

Nebbi District L.C5 chairman, William Ezrom Alenyo has succumbed to car accident injuries he sustained last week.  Alenyo passed on at Mulago National Referral Hospital after he was referred from Nebbi General Hospital.  He was involved in a motor accident as he travelled to Pokwero village in Pakwach District.

Without giving details, the deceased’s son, Mr Marshall Alenyo, said on Tuesday that his dad died Monday night.
In his brief message, Mr Marshall said: “My brothers and sisters, my father, Mzee Alenyo O.O has died. May you have us in your prayers.”

The late Alenyo was first voted as LCV chairman in a by-election in 1998, a position he held till 2006. He bounced back in 2011 but did not make it in elections. He again tried his luck in the political arena in the 2016 general elections and emerged winner.
