Eddy Kenzo survives arrest over ‘People Power’ chant

Singer Eddy Kenzo survived spending yesterday evening in the coolers. The ‘Biwoobe’ singer was one of the acts that graced Gravity Omutujju’s ‘Embuzi Zakutuude’ concert at Cricket Oval, Lugogo.

According to sources, artistes were banned from chanting ‘People Power’ and making political remarks.

However, Eddy Kenzo chose not to play by the stringent rules. Midway his performance, he shouted ‘People Power’ sending wild cheers through the crowd.

As soon as he stepped off stage, security tasked him to explain his defiant action.
