Bobi Wine’s driver left 11 children and three wives, family demands government and Bobi Wine to take charge

With Yasin Kawuma’s body yet to be handed over to relatives for a befitting burial, the family of the deceased have called upon government and MP Robert Kyagulanyi to take care of them.

According to Kawuma’s brother, Mr Thabit Male, 40-year old Kawuma left 11 children and three wives who are now living in fear of their for survival since the family’s bread-winner is now gone.

“We want government to take charge of my brother’s family since its their policemen who shot him dead. These were mere campaigns for a free and fair election, so guns were not necessary,” said Thabit.

One of Kawuma’s wives, Ms Annet Nansubuga has tasked Bobi Wine to step in and help since their husband died on duty.

“He is the one who called my husband to go and drive him to Arua. Maybe if he had not gone with him, he could not have died. Now I request him to look after our family,” Nansubuga emotionally stated.

Yasin Kawuma was shot dead in Arua.
