The Goat Races will be returning to Kampala the social scene come August 25 at Speke Resort Munyonyo. The return of the races has been marked in bold for this month’s list of must-attend events after having gone through a six-year break.

The Tusker Malt powered event will be making its big comeback to the social scene as the ultimate fun show characterised by merrymaking and extravagant fashion, which were the hallmarks of the Goat Races for years.

Early bird tickets to the event are now on sale at selected points around Kampala for only Shs30,000. The offer runs until August 10.

The event coordinator, Sheena Ruparelia has promised to deliver the very best show yet saying, “Our focus is on the races and activities around that and we are definitely bringing back that amazing experience back with fun-filled activities everyone can participate in.”

With three weeks to the event, Kampala fun lovers can now own discount tickets way before the set date by simply finding their way to the Speke Apartments, Speke Hotel, Speke Resort Munyonyo and Kabira Country Club. Tickets will also be available on Quicket.co.ug for online users. They will cost Shs50,000 at the gate so getting them early could save you Shs20,000 for your Tuskers come D-day.
