Babirye’s father unhappy with her for holding ‘kwanjula’ at a hotel

Ssalongo Henry Mukoza, the father of gospel singer Judith Babirye, is not happy with his daughter holding her Kwanjula ceremony in a hotel.

Mukoza said ceremonies are meant to take be held at one’s traditional home so that the village people witness the ceremony for purposes of respect.

“I would not want my daughter to hold her kwanjula ceremony in a hotel because that depreciates my respect as a Ssalongo.’’

Judith Babirye’s kwanjula ceremony is will be held at a secret location but Matooke Republic has learnt that it is somewhere in Kawuku along Entebbe road.

The singer cum MP will be introducing fellow legislator, Paul Musoke Ssebulime the MP of Buikwe North – the man she has been fighting for.
