103-year-old Amama Mbabazi father-in-law passes on

Former Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi’s father-in-law, Rev Canon Gershom Ruhindi has died.The 103-year-old Ruhindi died on Thursday at about 2:45am from his home in Nyakisoroza Village, in Kacence Parish, Nyakishenyi Sub County in Rukungiri District.

According to family members, he had been experiencing  complications related to old age.

Alice Ruhindi, one of the daughters of Rev. Ruhindi announced his death on her Facebook page.

 The 103-year-old Ruhindi was born in 1915 and by early 1960s started serving the Lord in Kigezi Diocese. Ruhindi together with his wife Everina Ruhindi have eight daughters one being Jacqueline Mbabazi the wife to Amama Mbabazi.
