We’re not short brown people — Clan, family disowns Minister Namuganza, demand DNA test

State Lands Minister Persis Namuganza’s clan and family members have disowned her arguing that she is not a child of the late Christopher Mutyaba Nkono, former Royal Chief of Bukono Chiefdom.

“We are not brown women, we are not short women; all our children are black. There is a lot of differences between us and Namuganza and that is why we want a DNA test”, one family elder stated while addressing the press.

They stated that she has no biological connection to the royal family and they demand DNA test to settle the matters.

Minister Namuganza has been embroiled in a controversy involving Speaker Rebecca Kadaga and Busoga kingdom. She blames the speaker for her woes.
