23-year-old Wazir Benson Chacha Masubo was arrested and detained at the Muthinga police station in his hideout in Tarime Tanzania after he was accused of extorting money from Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators.

Chacha had been hiding in Tanzania before his arrest as he was waiting for his documents before he could move to Zanzibar where he had rented a house and made payments for an entire year.
