Stanbic Bank introduces cashless transactions with Visa Card

Stanbic Bank Uganda has introduced a new life style experience dubbed ‘Blue Weekends’. The new campaign will see revellers enjoy cashless transactions at selected bars and restaurants by simply swiping away that Visa Card when paying the bills.

During the  launch at Bugolobi based Monot Lounge, restaurants; Piato restaurant, Le Chateau restaurant and Karveli restaurant were revealed as participating outlets in the campaign that hopes to give revellers more convenient payment option.  Also, the transactions come with amazing discounts on selected items.

” ‘Blue Weekends’, is a round-the-year platform that will allow customers to pay and enjoy discounts at various places of convenience, through our POS terminals and digital channels across the country. Through this new proposition the bank can fit into customers’ lifestyles and choices.  All visa card holders, Stanbic Bank Digital Banking customers using *290# and the Stanbic App can access the service. For the merchants, we are targeting business customers with the Stanbic POS”,Sonia Karamagi, Stanbic Bank Senior Marketing Manager stated.

 

Singers Sheebah and A Pass spiced the night as revellers partied the night way.

The ‘Blue Weekends’ campaign will run every last Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every month starting from March 30th, 2018 to December 2018.
