Martin Okoth Ochola, the new Inspector General of Police has made his first reshuffle just days after being assigned office. Over 80 officers have been deployed to different offices of duty and former Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) spokesperson, Patrick Onyango has been brought back in the same position he held in 2014.
Onyango replaces Luke Oweyesigire who has been acting in the position which was left vacant after Emilian Kayima’s elevation to full force spokesperson. However, Oweyesigire has now been made Onyango’s deputy.
