King Saha adopts Chameleone’s advice, now moves with machete

During the late Mowzey Radio’s burial, singer Jose Chameleone sounded war drums when he called out fellow artistes to step up their game and start defending themselves.

Chameleone urged all musicians to start carrying weapons like hammers and machetes in their cars at all times so that they are able to face enemies and take them out- ‘just like they had taken out his late brother AK47, producer Dans Kumapesa and Mowzey!’

Chameleone’s inciting statements were received with mixed feelings.  For some artistes and reckless fans, it was music to their ears and they ululated their throats hoarse, but to reasonable members of society, it was simply a wrong call, from someone considered an elder in the industry to preach violence. As such, the Uganda Musicians Association to which Chameleone is party, issued a statement the same day, calling upon all musicians to treat Chameleone’s advice with the contempt it deserved.

But considering Chameleone is responsible for nurturing quite a number of today’s stars, who included the fallen Radio, some musicians, specifically King Saha have since adopted their former master’s advice.

According to a reliable source, Saha has since acquired a number of machetes; “He (Saha) now moves with about two pangas in his car. One under the driver’s seat and another in the trunk,” the source told us.
