Kenya’s opposition NASA in crisis meeting after gov’t switches off TV, radio ahead of Raila swearing-in today

National Super Alliance (NASA) Principals are set to hold a crisis meeting following the switch-off of TV transmission on all free to air channels. Speaking to journalists before leaving his home,NASA deputy principal, Kalonzo Musyoka condemned the move by Government that has shocked many.
Citizen TV has been switched off on all channels while NTV and KTN has been switched off on all free to air channels. The same has affected several radio stations under the Royal Media Services stable.
According to The Kenya Editors Guild through its chairman Linus Kaikai, the bosses were required to ensure the NASA swearing in ceremony is given a wide berth by all media houses in the country.
