The opposition chief whip Semujju Nganda has called for either the resignation or arrest of the Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura over failure to manage security of the country.

According to Ssemujju, for long the arrested goons have come out openly and claimed to be working directly with police.

In his today’s address to journalist at FDC party headquarters in Najjanankumbi, Ssemujju stated; “The Boda Boda 2010 association has been claiming to be working with police and so if the leader of the association has been arrested over suspected murder, it is an indication that police which is headed by Gen Kayihura has been protecting a murder suspect yet police was supposed to arrest him and not military. So I ask the military which arrested those goons in 2010 to also arrest Gen Kayihura”.

He was responding to the arrest of the leader of the notorious Boda Boda 2010 group Abdul Kitata and some of its other members.
