Cranes to meet Museveni in Rwakitura today with hopes of a “handshake”

As preparations for the 2018 African Nations Championships are underway, the Uganda Cranes team will today meet President Yoweri Museveni in Rwakitura.

The team will be led by FUFA officials and new Cranes head coach, Frenchman Sebastien Desabre and are expected to discuss various issues in line with the development of the sport.

According to sources, the team has hopes of landing a presidential handshake following their heroics last year that saw them compete at Afcon.

Also Fufa confident is to get a clear government stand of how the newly national teach coach will be catered for.  Also, in the similar meeting the netball federation and the athletics federation who will be in company of Joshua Cheptegei and Jacob Kiplimo will also be in attendance.
