As the dust in the leading opposition party Forum for Democratic Change is yet to settle, motor mouthed Kawempe South MP Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa says former president Gen. Mugisha Muntu is a good leader but only failed to identify the wants of FDC.

“Gen. Muntu never studied FDC wants, ”Munyagwa stated
According to the security minister in the ‘shadow’ cabinet, FDC must strictly run on a defiance strategy and that’s why Hon Patrick Amuriat is the right president for the party because he has similar elements like Dr Besigye, whom he called ‘the father of the revolution”.

“Amuriat is our new president and his manifesto is strictly defiant. The party will now finally win the battle against President Museveni,” he explained.

Munyagwa was also in the race of being party president but later stepped down claiming his manifesto was just like that of Amuriat there so was no need standing against him.

The legislator also commented on the ongoing tension in the party saying; “FDC is for all of us. This is not the first time this is happening. Even Muntu once won Nadala Mafabi but we overcame it and the party moved on. Leaving the party because of loss in an election is ashaming.”
