The HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series have kicked off this morning in Dubai and our boys who are in pool C having put a fair display in their opener against giants South Africa.
Despite the boys having a sloppy start thus falling 14-00 at halftime, they managed to pull back some tries in the second half through the usual suspects Solomon Okia and Phillip Wokorach. The game ended 19-10 hence South Africa getting a hard earned victory.
In the other game of Pool C, rival neighbours Kenya attained a comfortable 29-15 win against Canada thus enlightening their chases of finishing in the top two places of the pool. In a few minute at around 1:14PM local time, the boys will be back on the field for game two against Canada.
