The Red Pepper tabloid offices in Namanve have been sealed off by operatives from Police Counter-Terrorism Unit this Tuesday evening.
“The Red Pepper is currently under siege by Counter Terrorism Unit of Police,” Arinaitwe Rugyendo, one of the directors tweeted.

The move follows a story published by Red Pepper on Monday, saying that President Yoweri Museveni is plotting to overthrow his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame.
The newspaper quoted a Rwandan local online publication Rushyashya which is reportedly operated by a security agent in RPF.
Ugandan government dismissed the report saying that Uganda-Rwanda ties are solid.
This is a developing story. Details to follow.
