‘Zimbabwe generals are done talking’

An army insider has told Khuluma Africa, an investigative  digital news site, that ‘The Generals are done talking’ after they posed questions about a statement released by Zanu PFs Youth League, and more light regarding a statement by their Commander, General Chiwenga yesterday.

The army insider who was not named refused to confirm the authenticity of two of the three videos of army tanks circulating on social media, along with images of soldiers and army trucks spotted along Harare – Chinhoyi road.

Khuluma Afrika had reached out to him, hoping to get clarity on why army tanks have been spotted along Chinhoyi road, just outside Inkom barracks.

The initial suspicion was that it was either an army drill (as seen with videos of army trucks along Gweru – Shurgugwi road a few weeks back), or it was a show of force in response to Kudzai Chipanga’s threat.

Generally given the ill sentiment, it is also logical to assume that ‘something is brewing’.
