With many Cranes stars joining the residential camp, Uganda Cranes play Madagascar on Wednesday at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo ahead of the must win tie against Ghana on Saturday at Namboole.
“The match will help Uganda Cranes coach gauge the technical ability and mental strength of his players ahead of a crucial fixture against Ghana on Saturday. We believe Madagascar have the quality to give our team good preparations”, said Fufa Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein.
According to Fufa, the friendly will be played in a closed format from the public but accessible by fans who purchased the discounted tickets (each sold at 25,000/-).
Over the weekend, Cranes won their first warm up game 2-0 against Northern Region select and thanks to Derrick Nsibambi’s brace.
