Defending league champions Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club will today play host to West Nile side Onduparaka FC in their third game of the 2017/2008 Azam Uganda Premier League season.
KCCA FC will be battling it out to register their first win of the season having gathered only two points in their first two games. Onduparaka opened their season with a barren draw at home but in their second attempt away, the caterpillars saw off newly promoted Maroons in a 2-0 win at the Luzira prison grounds.
In yesterday’s press briefing, the Kasasiro boys manager Mike Mutebi vowed that his side will display good football.
“We expect to play well this time and win, it’s important we win tomorrow (Tuesday) so that we can put our house in order. We have lost four points on the road, we need to remedy the situation by winning”, stated Mutebi.
“The center forwards must start scoring, they have a responsibility to take away the chances that the midfielders create, but on top of creating chances, we also expect the midfielders score goals”, he added.
Last season KCCA FC humiliated Onduparaka 7-0 at the StarTimes stadium after a 2-1 loss in Arua.
On the other hand, three more fixtures will be played on respective venues.
