Over the weekend, singer Eddie Kenzo made a statement that could cause him so much trouble before the likes of legislators Simeo Nsubuga, Arua MP Ibrahim Abiriga as well as Kampala minister Betty Olive Namisango Kamya aka BONK!

While receiving an award at the Uganda Entertainment awards held over the weekend, Kenzo told all and sundry that he is more famous than our 31-year-long serving president- Yoweri Museveni,

During his short speech, Kenzo bragged that he is the most famous Ugandan! The only Ugandan BET award winning artiste made it categorically clear that the only other famous people are former President Idi Amin Dada, the Ghetto Kids who featured in his Sitya Loss video and comedian Anne Kansiime!

“President Museveni and others follow from that order,” Kenzo said amidst wild ululations from the audience.

We are afraid that Kenzo’s statement is not one that will go down well with many regime apologists that believe that president Museveni is Uganda’s alpha and omega!

However, Kenzo did not mince his words even when we reached out to him shortly after the event; “Yes, I am the most famous man from Uganda, I am not taking that back, Kenzo insisted!
