Several African heads of state have today joined thousands of Rwandese nationals at the Amahoro National Stadium to attend the inaugural ceremony of Rwanda’s president elect Paul Kagame.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni also is amongst the dozens of heads of state that have attended the swearing in ceremony. Kenya just elected president Uhuru Kenyatta also honoured the invitation despite his government being on panic dealing with the election aftermath.
Kagame was handed another seven-year term in office like a fortnight back following his landslide victory in the polls earlier this month. Kagame garnered 98% of the total votes cast in the poll that left the two other candidates to share the remaining 2%.
