Hon. Minster of Kampala Beti Kamya has described President Museveni as a gift from God who is more intelligent than the entire cabinet.

She stated that it would be a great disservice to this country if the constitution is not amended to allow the president contest in the next general elections.

“For the little time I have worked with the president, I find him, a very informed and tolerant leader. I sit in cabinet every Wednesday, but actually I think he is more intelligent than cabinet combined. Therefore, you just can’t do away with him,” Beti Kamya told The New Vision.

The Minister who previously contested against the president has since became one of the vocal campaigners of the bid to scrap presidential age limit to allow the president contest come 2021.

However, the president has denied having any intentions to amend the constitution.

“Those debating age limit, what are you debating? Who has brought that proposal? Don’t waste time with people who don’t have what to do… I have heard them, but I am busy with my work”, he recently stated.
