Former Uganda Cranes captain Geoffrey Massa could face attempted murder charges, police has revealed. Massa allegedly evaded police officers who found his vehicle suspiciously parked along the high way on the Namboole Fly Over “shaking shaking” when they shot at him.
When the officers approached the vehicle, Massa reportedly sped off and almost knocked other officers and a motorcyclist.
“We are likely to prefer charges of attempted murder and reckless driving in the case we are investigating,” said Kayima in a short statement.
Mr Massa is said to have sustained injuries when he braked instantly and hit his head on the windscreen.
