President Museveni has finally opened up on the succession debate that had gained steam over the previous week.

“We (NRM) are not a group that just begins to do something and everything we do is prepared for. When time comes, we shall talk about it,”he responded to a question while addressing the press.
The president stated that matters are handled according to priority and some things are left unattended to not because they are less important but because their time has not reached.
The debate was started by the president’s son-in-law Odrek Rwabogo who allegedly tasked the NRM to start thinking and discussing the successor of Museveni.
