Today afternoon Vipers Sports Club has unveiled new head coach Duarte Miguel Jorge Da Costa at their new home of St Mary’s Kitende. The unveiling was presided by Vipers’ club president Lawrence Mulindwa.
The Portuguese joins the Venoms after signing a three year contract and will take charge immediately and will begin his work with the Caf Confederations cup first round home tie against South Africa’s Platinum Stars this Saturday.
“We are happy to welcome Jorge Da Costa to the Vipers Sports club family, he will the head coach starting immediately,” said Vipers club president upon unveiling the new coach to the media.
Richard Wasswa and Edward Golola who have been in charge of the team since the exit of Abdullah Mubiru will be Da Costa’s first and second assistants respectively.
