Shafik Bisaso’s men where stormed by angry fans accusing them of lack of team spirit. The fans were infuriated by the teams lukewarm presence on the pitch let alone failing to win two games in a row. They argued that they sacrificed alot to watch the team play.
SC Villa’s second round start seems to be getting harder as in the two games they have so far played, the 16 times league champions have only gathered two points. Yesterday Villa played bottomed placed JMC Hippos confidently hoping to level points with table leaders KCCA, but to the fans disappointment their 10-man team settled for 1:1 draw.
New singing Emmanuel Okwi scored his first goal on return at the club at half time; however, it was cancelled by Hassan Musana’s second half strike. After the goal hosts dominated the game which made Villa players committee hard challenges, such style of play got Villa’s defender Henry Katongole being booked twice thus he was sent off.
Villa in now two points behind KCCA, but “Kasasiro boyz” has a game in hand. A win for KCCA in their game will put them 5 points off top of the table.
