Policeman shoots wife, self to death at Nsambya barracks

A policeman identified as Geoffrey Sabitti shot his wife to death and then turned the gun to self. The deceased was returning from night duty. At about 6:30 this morning, residents were shocked to the sounds of the gunshots that left the two bodies a pool of blood.

The wife was identified as Akol Carol. Police is yet to establish the cause of the unfortunate incident. The gun was recovered from the house. The deceased are survived by three children.
