News coming our way is that top female dancehall stars Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu will take on each other in musical battle at Gekko Lounge next month, in what will be the first ever top female artistes musical battle! According to Gekko Lounge’s new boss JKazoora, the battle of the dancehall queens is slated to happen on Liberation Day- January 26, 2018.

“We’ve seen battles for Chameleone, Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool, and we thought it better to also have one for the leading female artistes. We couldn’t look beyond the queens of the dancehall genre- Cindy and Sheebah. It will not be a night of war, but a night of entertainment and proving their prowess,” JK told us.
