SC Vipers strike Shs300m deal with DFCU Bank

Azam Uganda Premier League fast growing side Vipers Sports Club has today morning reached another sponsorship landmark as they put a pen with DFCU Bank on a two year deal worth Shs300m.

While Speaking at the function at the bank head offices in Kampala, DFCU Bank’s Chief of Business and Executive Director, Mr. William Sekabembe, said; ” DFCU Bank understands the importance and impact of football in our communities and Uganda in general. We are pleased to partner with a club that has a strong heritage and is committed to empowering communities through sports development.”

” With the sponsorship valued at a total of UGX 300m we believe that DFCU is committed to partnerships that demonstrate the ability to empower and transform communities,” he added.

The shirt sponsorship deal will see DFCU Bank logo appear at the back of the Vipers SC jersey for the next two years.

Kintende based Club President; Mr. Lawrence Mulindwa who led the Venoms officials was excited about the deal as he said; ” As a club we are excited to have one of the most powerful brands in banking sector supporting us to build and grow the game of football. Having DFCU Bank as our banking partner is beneficial to not just Vipers but the entire football fraternity in Uganda.”

DFCU Bank becomes the third sponsor at Vipers Sports Club joining Hima Cement and Roofings Limited.
