Airtel renews sponsorship deal with Uganda Cranes worth Shs10b

 Tele-communication company Airtel Uganda has renewed its sponsorship deal worth Shs10b with Uganda Cranes. The deal unveiled this morning will run for the next four years.

The unveiling ceremony took place at Serena International Hotel in Kampala where different officials from Airtel and Fufa graced the event with State Minister for Sports, Hon. Charles Bakabulindi as the chief guest.

“The Shs10b contribution is to make a meaningful investment in football development” stated the Managing Director of Airtel Uganda, VG Somasekhar.

Fufa President Eng Moses Magogo who put a signature on behalf of the federation praised the new deal saying; “This is the biggest sponsors in the history of this country. It is not about today but the future,”

The first deal between the Telecom Company and Fufa was worth Shs4b.
