I now rear cows, goats and local chicken — PM Amama Mbabazi breaks silence

Ex-premier John Patrick Amama Mbabazi has been off the scene for a long while. However, while attending a thanksgiving function yesterday together with his wife Ms Jacqueline Mbabazi at St.Andrews Church of Uganda, Kihihi Archdeaconry,  Amama broke the silence when addressing the congregation.

Guess what? He revealed that he is now into agriculture particularly poultry and animal husbandry.

“I have started agriculture. I now rear cows, goats and local chicken,”Mbabazi stated.

On the ongoing debate of lifting the presidential age limit, the former NRM Secretary General said he will comment about the issue at the appropriate time and urged the public to keep peace.

His wife Jacqueline Mbabazi openly told the congregation not to support the age limit amendment as she said; “You have a lot of problems but don’t be tempted by the little money they will give you to start singing ‘Mugikwateho.”

“This is not time for amending the constitution. It should be time to ask for good schools, good roads and good hospitals. Ask them why the rates of deaths during birth are high. Ask why children below five years die,” she added.
