After, Anti-Age-Limit MPs unveiled an all-red look yesterday at Parliament, NRM’s Ruth Nankabirwa had concerns about the choice of attire. The government Chief Whip stated that some non-Muslim MPs will “abuse” the attire in their attempts to protest against the bill.

She stated that the cap is strictly for Muslims and non-Muslims who don the attire might cause tensions among Muslims.  Some MPs ditched the red ribbons for red suits and jackets with red caps in protest against the lifting of the 75-year presidential age cap.
