“The past is the past, am going nowhere, I want to play my football with Onduparaka and work hard to score more goals next season, guys we should not take anything for granted, let’s work together as a team, the same things we do here are the same things in south Africa, the difference is just hard work”, he stated.

Meanwhile tactician Charles livingstone Mbabazi has given the net buster two weeks of rest, which he termed as ‘crucial recovery’.

“Shaban needs to rest, he has been up and down in one way or the other, this coming season we really need to manage him well, last season he missed many games due to niggling injuries and suspensions, it’s up to us to manage that straight away’,’ Mbabazi reflected.

Shaban will be ready to play when the caterpillars will host Singida United of Tanzania in an international friendly, last season the boys in green hosted Kenyan giants Gor-mahia.
