We have learnt that comedienne Anne Kansiime is not a joking subject after she acquired land on the shores of Lake Bunyoni and for the past few weeks, has been in and out of Kabale to supervise final touches to her an accommodation facility which, for a lack of a better word, we will refer to as a ‘resort’.
Named Kansiime Backpackers, the facility is strategically located on the shores with a picturesque view of one of the world’s deepest lakes. The ‘resort’ that will target both local and international tourists is planned to open by July, and to be fully ready for the Christmas holidays in December this year.
