Stella Nyanzi’s bail hearing lasts 30 minutes, case adjourned to May 10

The Courts of Law have demonstrated a very high of efficiency this morning as Dr. Stella Nyanzi’s bail case hearing lasted for about 30 minutes before she was whisked back to Luzira Prison.

High Court has adjourned to May 10 to allow High Court handle the revision application of Dr. Stella Nyanzi’s case file.

Yesterday the Criminal division of High court recalled Nyanzi’s case file from Buganda Road Chief Magistrate’s court following an appeal by her lawyer Isaac Kimaze Semakadde. Kimaze claimed that the Buganda Road court chief magistrate James Ereemye Mawanda had a coalition  with the state to frustrate his client’s bail application hearing.
