Video: Kaweesi was sprayed with uncountable bullets – witness says

A witness has narrated a chilling account of how police spokesman Andrew Felix Kaweesi was gunned down together with his bodyguard and driver.

“The spent around 30minutes here. They shot so many bullets, they were too many you couldn’t even try to count,” says a resident of Kulambiro who claims to have witnessed the murder in a video that is now circulating on social media. 

“They were four men on two boda bodas,” she said.

“You couldn’t get close to them or even intervene because they were armed and we were not,” the woman said. 

Police has not yet released a statement explaining the circustamnces. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Emilian Kayima has asked the public to remain calm as police conducts investigations.
