American hiphop star French Montana doing no collabo with Ugandan artistes

You are all aware by now that French Montana is in the country. Right? Well, it turns out excited Ugandan artistes who expected to capitalise on the surprise guest will only afford selfies at best.

Montana is here shooting a documentary about “the motherland”. Yes, Africa is Montana’s motherland. He was born Karim Kharbouch in Morocco in 1984 and only moved to the US when he was 13. At that time, he only spoke Arabic and French, hence the moniker French Montana.

According to reports, the American star  has very tight schedule and has no plans to record music with a Ugandan artiste-so far. However, there could be an opening incase there is change of heart or comprise of set schedule.

The “Hold Up” hit maker who survived a gunshot to the head in 2003 is shooting this documentary across several countries in Africa.
