I tell you Ugandans know the Queen’s language. People just spew words we never heard as adverbs, verbs, adjectives or idioms in our English language lessons. Perhaps we should demand a refund. They cant just Kowtow our poohoo like that!

Hon. Fred Mukasa Mbidde Democratic Party’s deputy president and also representative of the party in East African Legislative Assembly came under attack by the Uganda Young Democrats, the youthful wing of the party who argued that his table is already full and he should step down from the DP deputy seat.

The boys claimed their deputy president was “double dealing” by enjoying with President Museveni and also eating from the DP plate.

Hon Mukasa Mbidde

However, Mukasa Mbidde had the best response. He wove in a tough vocabulary as he defended his relationship with the president and his performance in the parliament.

“I cant kowtow in their poohoo”, he defended himself!

Well,we did not contact professors. We also know English!

“I cant kowtow…” means he cannot submit to their subversive talk. He cannot humble himself and obey their demands.

“….in their poohoo..” means useless cries of pain.

So to add up the whole sentence, “I cannot submit to their cries of pain!”

Also poohoo means a person who cries a lot because of pain while in act of defecating!

Thats Mukasa Mbidde for you!
