Another high-end hangout has opened up in Bukoto! Situated between Dinners Lounge and 400 bars, Racers bar is located on the storied building that houses the equally new Best Buys supermarket, adjacent to Oryx fuel station. Competition can only get stiffer as the hangouts are just a stone throw from each other!
Well, to announce its arrival in the area with a bang, the management of the new Racers bar chose the celebrated Afrigo Band as the headlining act for their official February 10 opening to the public. Afrigo will share the stage with Lydia Jazmine and Naava Grey.
During a random visit to Racers over the weekend, we couldn’t help admiring the décor right from the colour choices and excellent mood lighting, the comfy seats and the wide range of a variety of wines and spirits.
The hangout’s manager- Abraham Akibawe told us that entrance at the launch will be strictly by reservation, but those who wish to walk in on the night will have to part with Shs25k!
