A global dating app- Chizo, is set to be launched in Uganda this Valentine’s Day. Chizo, a location-based social search mobile app, uses Facebook, to enable mutually interested users to chat.
The app which is already widely used as a dating service app in different parts of the world will officially launch in Uganda with a singles party dubbed ‘Chizo Singles Ball Party’ slated for Valentine’s Day at Fames bar, along Acacia Avenue.
A top Chizo app official Paul Kirungi told us the app is among the first swiping apps, where the user uses a swiping motion to choose between the photos of other users: swiping right for potentially good matches and swiping left to move to the next one.
Kirungi told us the Chizo Singles Ball Party will kick off a series of single ball parties that will roll out in different parts of the country throughout the year. There’s also a beautiful twist to the story, as Kirungi revealed that Naava Grey and Keneth Mugabi will be night’s official entertainers.
And here comes the icing on the cake; Kirungi also revealed that there will be open bar, meaning revelers will enjoy drinks on the house!
