The battle is not yet over for the FDC stalwart and opposition politics main figure Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye as he is expected to appear before High Court’s criminal Division today.

As one of his bail conditions for treason charges that were read to him in November last year, Besigye was ordered to appear twice a month before the High court registrar. The deputy registrar Mary Khainza later reformed his appearance to Court to once a month citing financial reasons.

For starters, Besigye is accused of holding an illegal swearing-in-ceremony following the aftermath of the 2016 presidential elections. He was arrested and remanded to Luzira before being charged with treason.
