Rwenzururu woes continue as Mumbere appears in court today

The Rwenzuru King Charles Wesley Mumbere is today morning appearing before Jinja Magistrates court for hearing of the charges against him.

The Omusinga appeared before the same court on December 28th and was charged with murder, treason and terrorism and remanded to Luzira where he spent his Christmas.

Mumbere was arrested with royal guards from the palace in November last year after clashes with the government security operatives. The state is expected to present all the evidence as it requested for more time to finalize investigations during the last court hearing.
