All eyes on Micho as he releases final Cranes AFCON squad

Uganda’s Serbian born Coach Milutin Sredojevic Micho is set to announce his final 23-man squad after the Tunisian game  which is currently on. Micho will drop three players from the 26 man  provisional squad in order  to meet the CAF that stipulates that 23 man squad are submitted   10 days before the official kick off.



Players like; Goalkeeper Salim Jamal, Shafik Batambuze, Mike Azira,  Edirisa Lubega,Shaban Mohammed and Timothy Awanyi could take the Tunisia friendly  game as their decider to make cut

Ghana’s coach Avram Grant controversially left out Juventus playmaker Kwadwo Asamoah and Leicester City ace Jeffery Schlupp as well as suspended duo of Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari who had expressed interest in returning.

Key Ghana players Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso, Christian Atsu and Jonathan Mensah all named in the squad.
